As the name implies, The Greater Milwaukee Foundation serves donors and nonprofits in the four-county metropolitan area including Milwaukee, Waukesha, Washington, and Ozaukee counties. Through our partner foundations: The Cedarburg Foundation, Oconomowoc Area Foundation, and the West Bend Community Foundation, we provide services that help donors maximize their charitable giving and support the work of dozens of local organizations. Each of our partner foundations has a volunteer advisory board comprising of local leaders who know the needs and strengths of their individual communities. Through their association with the Greater Milwaukee Foundation, partner foundations are able to focus their efforts on local grantmaking, while the Foundation provides administrative support and investment expertise.
